Hi and welcome to my blog where I talk about my journey of self discovery and finding joy along the way.

It’s time for recess, you ready to play?😃

Holy shift…

I’ve read that when planted, Chinese bamboo does all of its growth underground for the first five years. Once it breaks through, it will grow rapidly until it is 90 feet tall within five years! I have held onto this tidbit to help me through the hard days when I felt I was doing so much work on myself and my healing, but not seeing results. I feel my bamboo has finally broken ground.

The past several days I have felt a shift. I truly have begun to love all of me. I will lay with my hand on my belly and tell my body that I love it and the excess weight that I have resisted so long can stay as long as it needs to. And I really FEEL that! I have noticed that things are changing around me. The weight has slipped away even though I have had some carrot cake (🙄), I am so much happier at work, I have been more energized even when I don’t get the sleep I would like to, I have more patience, I feel more confident. The list goes on. Yesterday I was planning for a trip down to Southern Utah next week and was trying to find our goggles for the sand surfing. As I realized they must have been given away I put it aside as something to figure out. Last night I was auditing some returns and there were 2 sets of goggles. One was about $15, and the other was $4.97 for 3!

I feel I am more and more open to possibilities rather than looking for ways things aren’t turning out or people aren’t supporting me. I’m finally seeing the growth that was happening beneath the surface all these years.

Can you relate? If so, trust the process. There are things forming around you that are unseen right now.

Much love,

Jules ❤

PS: I had heard this about bamboo years ago and it took a long time searching Google to confirm this, but I found it on collaborativeteam.com/The Growth of a Bamboo Tree.
