We’re in the ocean looking for the ocean…

I LOVED the movie Soul by Disney, I feel it had so many lessons in it. At one point a story is told about a fish;

“I heard this story about a fish. He sims up to an older fish and says, “I’m trying to find this think they call the ocean.” “The Ocean?”, the older fish says, “that’s what you’re in right now.” “This?”, says the young fish, “This is water. What I want is the ocean.”

So many are looking to “connect to” something. To God, the Universe, Source. What we may not realize or have forgotten is that we are never not connected to God. We may block ourselves off from His love, His guidance, His presence, but it’s still part of who we are. There is no need to “connect”, we just get to receive and allow ourselves to feel the connection that is already there.

It’s like electricity. Even when a light is off in the room, the electricity still exists. We simply need to flip the switch to activate. Our connection is always there, we just get to practice keeping the switch on.

You are loved and Divine. God (Universe, Source, whatever you feel comfortable with) loves you and His connection is ALWAYS there for the taking.
