Being me...
At work we sometimes get to dress up. This month we are raising money for Children’s Miracle Network and this weekend we were able to dress as Mickey or Minnie or a Sesame Street character. Immediately I wanted to be Oscar the Grouch. He seems to be the underdog and is very opposite me. I got a lot of looks in my out of the box costume (complete with a unibrow that I drew on with my brow liner- ha), and it brought a lot of joy and laughter to people, and that’s what I do. It was a fun day, I’m so grateful for that side of me.
And by the way, this face totally showed up one day in my eyeshadow- it’s honestly not touched up or anything. I opened the lid and there “he” was. You never know.
Is there a part of you that needs to be valued, to be loved? I dare you to lean into that part of you that makes you unique.
Much love,
Jules ❤
