Home...
In the Wizard of Oz, Glenda tells Dorothy that she had always had the power to return home, but that she needed to learn it for herself. I’ve held a longing to be loved and cherished and supported by someone, to find a man who could give me and my boys all of this. This morning was a Glenda moment when I realized that the truth is that I am surrounded by love and support and am cherished beyond my ability to feel right now. I am love because I come from loving Heavenly Parents, I’ve just forgotten that.
This world can be so convincing. We see movies and read books that tell us that we are only complete if we are in a relationship with someone. That we’re only whole with someone else. We are enough, whole, complete on our own and it’s only when two people who know and live this come together that we can have a healthy, interdependent relationship. I don’t know about you, but I won’t settle for good or even the standard relationship. I only want a relationship that is firmly rooted in honesty, love, commitment, and growth. So I get to continue to uncover these truths in myself. I get to lovingly and gently and patiently let go of all that is not true about me so I can confidently and boldly live my truth in such a way that I can’t help but find my perfect match.
Don’t believe the movies. You are love. You are whole. You are complete. It’s been in you all along.
Much love,
Jules ❤
