Nourishment…

I was challenged yesterday to do 100 days of something to break the pattern of feeling I wasn’t “enough”. As I pondered about what that looked like I was on a zoom call that night and someone mentioned being “nourished” and it resonated. So I start my journey to nourishing myself; body, mind, and soul.

What does nourishment look like to me? Something that lifts and opens my heart. Yesterday I nourished my soul by taking a walk in nature by myself. It could be mindfully eating a delicious meal or treat. It could be lifting heavy weights or challenging my body in some way. It could be thinking of all the amazing things that could possibly happen. It could be swinging on a swing or playing a game with friends. There are so many ways we can nourish ourselves, the main thing is to be mindful, be fully present as we do them. Recognize how our bodies and souls feel as we are doing any activity.

So from now until June 15th I will be exploring the ways of nourishment. Will you join me?
